How to use GBU-15

Hi,
I am flying the Israel theater and I can select GBU-15 as my load-out.
Can anyone explain how to use this kind of guided bomb?
It is not like ordinary GBU i usually bomb using the TGP.

I have never used it and havent checked but i noticed some GBU’s arent laser guided, they’re JDAMs guided with INS/GPS like JSOWs…i think. Havent fired them, or JSOWs in any of the training TE’s yet but check that out- if its not in tacref (though it should) then try wiki, but it should be in tacref (tactical reference) so look there.

If you can select this as your loadout you cant be flying an F-16, and its a TV guided glide bomb. Its only meant for F-15E’s and F-111’s. Check it out in tactical reference.

Wrong, 2 seaters IAF F-16s do carry GBU-15.

For the OP, you can fire that bomb same as you fire a Maverick.

Unfortunately no you can’t.

Correct, in RL the GBU-15 is a Man In The Loop weapon where the WSO can guide the weapon to target after launch.
