My question is, is possible to have a friendly AFAC marking targets for you using smoke rockets? And If yes, is possible to add them on TE’s?

That would be a real game changer for CAS missions though, although we aren’t flying the A-10 here either.

Yep and that’s a shame in some respects for, while the Viper is a good jack of all trades, it has very short loiter time. Whereas the dedicated CAS Hawg has excellent loiter time. .

I find the loiter time quite adequate when Falcon brand R-77s are a coming your way.

you can task an A-10 FAC to support CAS and interdiction missions in campaigns though it’s impossible to see if they are actually working together.
