      Hi!

I have just installed Falcon BMS and started to do some traning missions. I think was among the first to buy a copy of Falcon 4 when it was released here in Sweden.
Flied for several years with the 87th Stray Dogs virtual fighter wing. But haven’t touched the stick for 10-15 years now. While I still understand how to fly the jet I must admit that I’m quite lost when it comes to weapons handling. Is there any good guides or manuals that cover this from scratch?

      Best rgds

            I agree with Arty’s and massima’s suggestions.
As a novice Falcon flier I found the tutorials by Krause to be a very great help.
Red Dog’s manual is an excellent resource also, mine is well thumbed at this stage.
As the more experienced fliers say “get on the stick”.
You’ll learn in small chunks and it’ll take a while, but it’s great fun.
            Good luck

Comes down to building muscle memory, which only comes with much practise.

So, yes, get on the stick, sir.

As a parallel, I used to be a picalo playing wizard with the hardcore dcs a10c, but had put it down for 2 years. Now with Nevada coming, as I move to relearn this amazing sim, I find myself stymied and floundering, still fun to relearn though.

Point being, hotas picalo playing is a perishable skill.

              GOTS…

Thats where you can confuse people as there is the BMS -34 manual too, as well as other manuals and documentation like the ones in the operational manuals folder. For example for me to find out what some words meant when in comms with other flights i was told to refer to the operational brevity words manual in the operational manuals folder.

BTW the part in my original post above where it has EDIT, i discovered the red dogs manual was the Dash-1 after i did a google search for it, so best just to refer to what the manuals’ actual names are in the docs folders to avoid confusion for newbies.
