French translation

The new manuals are a huge improvement for beginners. And I can’t thank you enough for the hard work. It’s very much appreciated.
However, as you’re well aware, French-speaking beginners are often beginners when it comes to reading English manuals as well.
So I have a favor to ask : May I be allowed to translate the “BMS user manual” and the “BMS training manual” into French, so as to help French-speaking newbies grasp what BMS is all about ?
The resulting translation would naturally be freely downloadable from Checksix.fr website (or anyone willing to host it), just like the OF manual that I translated in ancient times.

English only here, please.
No FR version available on the docs. If Wildcat is cleared to translate existing english docs into french, he will post the results on Checksix-forums.com.

And here first and foremost.
I have just been cleared to translate the training manual. I’m very excited
.
I plan to have it translated and checked by Red Dog at the end of February. I’ll keep you informed if I have to delay the planned date (being now husband and father means I cannot translate as fast as I used to). -
Are you doing all that work alone?
If you need some help, I can help you.
Or maybe build a translate Team? -

And the old english pb with french, I guess ?
English is actually mandatory in high school in France.
Anyway, let’s keep this thread on topic

Bonjour,
une traduction en Français ne ferait pas de mal, car j’en suis sûr cela décourage pas mal de monde, vu la complexité de BMS
Merci.

English only on this forum please. If you want to speak french about BMS, do it on C6.
Second time I’m saying this on this thread, I’d rather not do it a third time.
@Reaper : ok, maybe there is a french pb with english

Yep … “Frogs” are (in a “rule of thumb”) dramatically lazy with foreign languages. And worse … just look how French tourists are behaving on holidays.
And this is a shame compared with MANY other nations!
(Sorry for OT … but it deserve to be said IMO ;))

Don’t bother and just talk international, i.e. LOUDER and SLOWER. Proven solution that works anywhere, anytime.
@Fullnegi : As I wrote on C6 forum, I won’t need help to translate the training manual. Organizing a team’s work would take me as much time as translating by myself, so it wouldn’t really be efficient.
But I can sure use any help for the Ecole de Chasse docs.
