-
Bug : While trying to install Falcon BMS 4.33 , at the install phase, an error windows indicating that “Unable to create directory: C:\Falcon BMS 4.33\User\Config” has poped and installation has cancelled.
System : Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, Intel i7-4710MQ 2.50 GHz, 16 GB RAM, Nvidia GTX860M 2GB Graphic Card
Thing that I have tried so far:
1. Re-download - Din’t work,
2. Admin privileges - Checked, didn’t work,
3. Deleting 4.32 and reinstalling 4.33 first - Din’t work,
4. Manually adding the Script above - Didn’t work,
5. Optimizing and cleaning Registry - Didn’t work,
6. Disabling the antivirus, auto-protection and other firewall - Din’t work,NOT: I’ve tried to check the Windows’ Event Viewer but couldn’t manage to find the correct error log.
These are the some process that I’ve tried so far. All advises are gently welcomed.
And this is the screenshot :
Thanks.

any idea??
-
run in admin mode
-
Where are you trying to install BMS? ie What is the target folder?
-
I am trying to install the default C:/Falcon BMS… and tried to run in admin mode but no way out
-
You did put in the origional falcon 4.0 cd or exe. and point it to that exe right? It’s a stupid
question but I’m trying to figure the problem out.
Remember that this is an entirely different install from 4.32 and you can run either 4.32
or 4.33 on the same computer. So you need the falcon 4.0 exe to set up 4.33 as well. -
me too.
-
i run an .iso file indicating that falcon 4.0 and it accepted it.any other idea ?? thing i have done so far:
closed the antivirus
check the privileges
run in the admin mod
re download
different install locationbut didn’t work
-
I solved this problem by removing 4.32 folder and paste 4.33 setup in dive which I want to install ( sorry for my English language)
-
Hmmm, I’m running windows 7 on my end , are you running windows 10? I know some guys here are running w10.
Maybe give a shout out to some of them and see if they are doing something to get it to install. I installed with
no problems but I’m on windows 7. -
yes i am using windows 10 but, Winther did you mean me to erase 4.32 and install the 4.33 first
-
Do you install on C:**/Falcon… or
**Falcon… path?
note the slash/Backslash.Did Administratormode not help?
Did the Falcon 4.33 Folder exist before Installation? (Did you create the Folder perhaps manually before Installation? Also perhaps with a different Tool the Explorer?)Perhaps a quick solution, while running the Installation, create the specific Folder manually.
-
yes .erase 4.32 all file and now I can install 4.33 already.

Update : Deleted the Anti virus Norton but still didn’t work…
-
just to verify, did you try to create the Folders manually?
This way the folder won’t need to be created.
One Thing more, you might want to check the Folders Rights policy, and make the read/write for the Entity “Everyone”.
