I’m using Falcon MFD Extractor v0.6.1.0 with no issues on Windows 10. The newest version would not work correctly. I think it was v0.6.1.1 that didn’t work.

I’m running on Win 10 x64 but I use the in game extractor for the MFD’s and MFDE for the gauges. I’ve never had any luck with MFD extraction using MFDE for some reason, everything else is great though.

Anyone know how to easily kill the windows border when external MFDs are enabled? I had it set for BMS 4.32 now I cant remember what I did. MFDs work, just adds an ugly windows border to the top of the main screen, which cuts off the data at the bottom when viewing externally.

Uncheck the “borders” box in the cockpit display extraction, each section has the option. Select “Main” and on the right side of the new window you will see the option.

Can you please tell me do i need to have ext. display enabled in bms while extracting mfd screens to my second monitor?
And also…in what mode do you use it for extraction…client/server/standalone?

I just used it with external display enabled in bms and using standalone option in mfd extractor and my screen just displayed some garbled image and i needed to hard reset

I do not have Cockpit Display to external windows checked, but I think that when you set up MFDE correctly and point it at you BMS installation folder, it may add that line to the .cfg file for BMS.
The server and client are used if you want to extract to a network PC, if the extract monitor is on the same PC, use standalone.

They (MFD’s) should activate once you drop into 3D.

When you set up you MFD’s did you click on the “Recover” button beside the check box of the two MFD’s? I click on it then move the image to the location I want.

I do not have the two options in configuration selected but in the extractor section I do have both MFD’s enabled.

Sarge55…from your post i can assume that your mfd was just static picture?

Hreich, i had exact the same problems when testing windows10 with 4.33. Upgrading the AMD driver from gpu solved the problem. The WHQL drivers in windows10 gave problems for me

@ hreich, Update. I can now get the MFD’s to work as well as the gauges using MFDE.

I re-installed the latest version and updated my nVidia driver which seems to have solved whatever issue I was having. To clarify, in the configuration settings I do not have either of the extraction boxes ticks. In the extraction settings I do have both MFD’s “enabled” don’t know if this is necessary but since it’s working I’m not touching it.

Thanks…i got it working by seting mfde to run as admin, and adding two lines in falcon bms.cfg file:
                                    Set g_bexporttttextures 1
                                    Set g_nrttexportbatchsize 2
