i am using hotas warthog but even when i use buttons or other axis assignments the throttle won’t budge when doing ramp start, throttle works fine on f-16 ramp start and on f/a-18c when using takeoff, or taxiway when the aircraft is pre started. any known fixes? i have seen someone using throttle fine on a video of the f-18 so idk what the problem is. other than this the f-18 is awesome so far, something for me to use until dcs f-18 comes out, then i really gotta study 🙂

thanks if anyone knows the fix, if not i guess ill just hope it gets patched

After the engine RPM reaches 25%, hit the idle detent (keyboard only as far as I’ve found so far) and then the throttle will move.

It will not cycle the like the F-16 throttle prior to Idle detent.

You need to unlock the throttle with the idle detent key (default is alt-i). So once the rpms on startup reach 25%, move the throttle forward then hit the key and the throttle should jump forward.
