Mission Commander beta release

Hi,
As I have noticed that there is a great need for this tool, I am releasing a beta version so that everybody can enjoy it already.
So what does the tool do for you?
This is a tool for those persons that build campaigns or want to edit TEs (Tactical Engagements).
You will NOT be able to create TEs from scratch, missions still need to be made in BMS itself.
However, with MC you can do some tricks that you can not do in the Falcon UI.
Remember that this is just a beta and use it at your own risk.

Installation
Latest version: 0.5.29.763(beta) 01 Jun 2023

Here are some highlights.
Flight
- Change your flights callsign.
- Change the type of aircraft.
- Change the amount of aircraft in a flight.
- Change the fuel the aircraft has in its tanks.
- Move your flight to another package.
- Set all locks for time or speed with one click.
Package
- Delete flights from the package.
Squadron
- Change the squadron name.
- Change the squadron patch.
- Move a squadron to a different base.
- Change the amount of aircraft in a squadron.
Battalions
- Change the battalion name.
- Choose which vehicle is alive.
Taskforce
- Change the Taskforce name.
- Choose which ship is alive.
- Add/delete STPT for the ships. Place the STPTs on the map.
Objectives
- Set the status of a building. You can set a building Damaged, Destroyed, Repaired or No Damage.
- For runways, craters are added if you set a runway Damaged or Destroyed.
These are just some highlights and there are some more goodies in the software.

I am having install problems.
Make sure MC is NOT installed in the BMS directory!
Create its own directory. Example C:\MissionCommander. -
MC used to work fine, but now it has unexplained issues.
Close MC. In the MC directory find the “setup.ini” file and delete it. Restart MC. This makes sure all previous settings are removed. (aka fresh start) -
Getting a error " Unable to load DLL ‘LzssNative.dll’"
This DLL file should be in the same directory as MC. For some this files has a hard time to load.
Reinstalling BMS , Windows or buying a new PC will NOT help.
Just grab the file from WDP or any other previous version that did work for you.
This package might also help, it contains both DLL files.

Is MC Compatible with 4.36U2, U3 or whatever.
Yes, MC is always compatible with these versions as its being build for the latest code in the Dev team.

TePlanes

- Added, TePlanes list also checks DogFight IDs now. Including a nice management.
TeUnitList
- Changed, Adding a new TE Unit (Battalion) option to manually change values.
- Changed, Major overhaul of the system. Name now come from the strings.txt iso hardcoded

- Fixed, Correctly saving of strings.txt.
Stats
- Changed, Better sorting of the number values.

Fantastic Program Falcas. But
The files where you keep the routes, the BMS and its theaters are by default in
\ xxxxxxxxx. I have the Falcon and D as shown in the picture.
I had to edit and change routes.

greetings ToquemaoYes, he has MC set to default C and to the specific default Korea theater path.
So, when I was working with the pre beta versions I had to edit the configurations for what ever drive I had my separate BMS installs to and the specific theater path.
It should have a File>Properties Option so you can set the path yourself like in TacEdit.:D

Does this mean that you can only disable some slots but you cannot change or add new vehicles? How effect on 2D modeling values? For ex. if I disable in an SA-2 battalion MANPADs or AAA does the tool recalculate 2D world modelng values?

You are changing the roster of a battalion. This means that default composition of the battalion remains the same.
So it is the same as you have flown and killed one of the vehicles.Gr Falcas

Thank you very much! Avid TE builder here, as I am a self trainer this is a perfect tool, I am progressing smoothly and steadily at my own pace these little add-ons/tools are perfect for people like myself thanks again.
To be honest F4 needs a proper cadet training module/course like in RL, also like Lock-On which I gave up for F4, but that’s a big project to accomplish, although someone should begin a WIP Cadet Training program for new comers or returnees starting over.
