      Quick screenie / bug report:

      Mirage 2000 uses wrong ventral pylon for RP522 fuel tank and other stores:

      Note to self: I do appreciate the smoothness and ‘roundness’ of the new 1,300 L tank; the previous one was driving me crazy! 😛

      Also, the R.550 Magic II missile LOD appears to be damaged (temporary fix for me: using the previous LOD from 4.32):

        I second this, I think the good pylon already exists in game. Placement also gotta be reworked (the RPL is placed too rearward).
        Also, on the same matter, the SCALP/APACHE cruise missiles are too low, they almost hit the ground. 🙂

        We also have full-white MAG II on 2000D, but I believe this is only a texture swap issue

          It does; I don’t know why it was changed (or how to change it back, for that matter).

          Default Magic II shares its texture file with the R73 (AA-11) ‘Archer’. In order to keep both, I use Raptor’s method to assign a different .dds number to the Magic II LOD after appending a new texture, but it would be great if this came by default from now on in the next patch.

            I do agree the pylon is not as it should be neither where it should be…
            But I do not see any difference between 4.32 and 4.33 on this point (IMO both are wrong)
            4.32 U7 M2000-C with RPL-522

            4.33 M2000-C with RPL-522

            4.32 M2000-D with RPL-522

            4.33 M2000-D with RPL-522

            Does anyone have made a fix for that (bmsrack or other) ?

              The pylon available in 4.32 (at least the one I have… and I have most certainly not tampered with it in the database) is listed as “R M2K rack 4” when looking at it in LOD Editor. The one currently being used in 4.33 is the same as the underwing pylon, which is conformal to the RP541/542 2,000 L drop tank (listed as “R M2K rack 2”).

                      I have a quick question related to this subject: how do I force a specific store (fuel tank, weapon, TGP, ECM pod) to use a specific pylon/bomb rack/adaptor?

                        You have to declare the weapon ID to the specific pylon record on the bmsrack file.

                          And is there any way to make the external store sit differently on the pylon (i.e. move the M2K ventral fuel tank forward of its current location)?

                            Yes, through LE you’ll have to move the fuel tank model to the new X Y Z position. Then it will sit perfect on the pylon. (edit lod > Tools: Model move)
