Strange Ammo seen at Aviano

Hi everybody…I recently been to Aviano AB and during the visit I had the chance to see the latest ammo used by the 31st FW…All bombs and missiles are things I’m used to see in Falcon but one missile just got my curiosity…It’s the one on le left of the picture attached …the one left of the 120’s…anyone know what that is?? They told me it’s “usefull” for sead’s since it acts like a plane…so once Air defences start to track it, SEAD strike’s would do their job…

I believe there are such things as decoy pods, (admit ably I only saw that in CGI on a typhoon promotion video.) that release a big decoy behind to try and confuse a radar. I barely know if they’re real let alone if they’re used so I wouldn’t trust me.

From what they told me these are not simple decoys but a “small airplane” that eventually is capable to come back from enemy lines and fly for various hundred miles……
