I’ve been enjoying 4.33 for nearly a week now. It was a great surprise last weekend…. However, one little thing - I can’t seem to get a Aim-120 to launch in BORE mode. The missile is set to BORE mode (tried both by the OSB method and by holding cursor enable), but with pickle the missile never fires. I get a fpm flashing, so the pickle is being recognized, there’s just no launch. Yes, the master arm is in ‘Arm’.

Is this a known issue? I don’t think I’m doing anything wrong. Thanks.

Haha, yep I’ve just read the MLU tape 1 manual. That works. Thanks. Love the undocumented changes…

However my cougar throttle doesn’t like a simultaneous hold of two buttons, which makes the hands on method difficult.

I use the pinkey switch to uncage on my TM Warthog. Slap the switch forward when in DF or MRM and missle uncaged without holding the button.

            Good luck!

Do you use dx-button mapping or do you have keyboard shortcuts assigned to you joystick buttons? In the latter case, it is very likely that you get some sort of key collisions and therefore can’t trigger two actions simultaneously.

What I meant with collisions is if you have a key-combo for example Crtl+B on one button and another Shift+A on another button and you press these two buttons simultanously you would also trigger the actions behind Ctrl+A and Shift+B. This example is a bit “constructed” but a member of our squadron had issues with his cursor slew mapping based on exact this problem.

Cougar throttle is perfectly happy with holding as many buttons as you like. Just a case of using DX - or programming it such that there are no key collisions, but my preference by far is for DX.
