Just started with BMS a few days ago and it’s been a tough one getting my X-55 setup. I’ll freely admit that I couldn’t wrap my head around the DX method despite reading through the PDF a couple of times. I’m used to the SST software so I put together the attached profile in case anybody wants to use it / improve on it.

The .pro file uses the BMS Full key file - all key commands are completely default so it should work for anybody. The only change I made was to strip out all the DX commands from the bottom of the BMS Full key file as I was getting some unwanted commands if the X-55 button wasn’t assigned with a keyboard command.

Basic thinking was to split the key commands across two modes. Mode 2 is for takeoff / landing / general flight. Mode 1 is for combat. Mode 3 is for a few odds and ends. I’m brand new to BMS so if anybody had suggestions on stuff to change to make it more useful in practice any feedback would be appreciated.

Made a few updates after using it in practice for a while - have attached an updated file.

Added emergency jettison and Cat I / Cat III to Toggle 4 in Mode 1 (Combat) - makes it easier to quickly jettison and flip to Cat I by flicking toggle 4 up and down in one motion
Switched the speedbrakes and slap switch around - it’s easier to fire off countermeasures with the thumb
Removed pitch trim and added view zoom in / out in the UI - the thumb axis on the throttle is easy to control for this and I wasn’t finding much use for pitch trim in practice

I find it works fine for A-A at least. Only started reading the manual for A-G so might need some additions later down the line.

PM me your email address and I’ll send you the proper PDF versions - they’re too large to upload here. The jpegs are ok to read too but when they got thumbnailed they lost some clarity it seems.

How do you generate the jpgs? Screencap the pdf?
I was looking for a way to print jpgs from the tool but didn’t see any. Maybe I overlooked it.
