Does anyone know how to stop the POV from changing views in the cockpit? I want to use it for moving the cursor for the radar. Sliding the pov sensitivity in controls all the way to the bottom doesn’t stop it from moving. I think in BMS 4.32 I got it stop moving but I can’t remember how. I am using the thrustmaster t flight hotas x. I searched a thread about disabling POV in the BMS keyfile but it still moves even though I changed the values.

Check the callback, not sure I am correct here as I cannot check at the moment, not at home.

        SimRadarCursorUp 0 -1 -3 0 0x0 0
        SimRadarCursorRight 0 -1 -3 2 0x0
        SimRadarCursorDown 0 -1 -3 4 0x0 0
        SimRadarCursorLeft 0 -1 -3 6 0x0 0

          @Switch:

          SimRadarCursorUp 0 -1 -3 0 0x0 0
          SimRadarCursorRight 0 -1 -3 2 0x0
          SimRadarCursorDown 0 -1 -3 4 0x0 0
          SimRadarCursorLeft 0 -1 -3 6 0x0 0

I tried putting that in the keyfile but my view keeps moving still, only now the radar cursor doesn’t move when I press the keys on the keyboard.

I put in this from that other thread:
          OTWViewLeft -1 0 0XFFFFFFFF 0 0 0 1 “VIEWGEN: Rotate View Left”
          OTWViewRight -1 0 0XFFFFFFFF 0 0 0 1 “VIEWGEN: Rotate View Right”
          OTWViewUp -1 0 0XFFFFFFFF 0 0 0 1 “VIEWGEN: Rotate View Up”
          OTWViewDown -1 0 0XFFFFFFFF 0 0 0 1 “VIEWGEN: Rotate View Down”
          OTWViewUpRight -1 0 0XFFFFFFFF 0 0 0 1 “VIEWGEN: Rotate View Up-Right”
          OTWViewUpLeft -1 0 0XFFFFFFFF 0 0 0 1 “VIEWGEN: Rotate View Up-Left”
          OTWViewDownRight -1 0 0XFFFFFFFF 0 0 0 1 “VIEWGEN: Rotate View Down-Right”
          OTWViewDownLeft -1 0 0XFFFFFFFF 0 0 0 1 “VIEWGEN: Rotate View Down-Left”

however this doesn’t seem to change anything pov is still enabled on my joystick.

I’ve got this simply in Falcon UI-Setup-Controllers, assigning “TQS: RDR CURSOR - Up” clicking on the corresponding line (it turns cyan) and then moving POV UP (same for other directions).
This doesn’t change the default binding in the list however, but if u press the POV now is recognized (the command shows up under the list when POV is depressed).

These lines seems to be added in my .key file:

            SimCursorUp 0 -1 -3 0 0x0 -1
            SimCursorRight 0 -1 -3 2 0x0 -1
            SimCursorDown 0 -1 -3 4 0x0 -1
            SimCursorLeft 0 -1 -3 6 0x0 -1

This got it working for me.

May i ask u if ingame your POV moves radar cursors in diagonal?

My old joystick T.Flightstick X had no problems, but now with the X55:

                  A) it doesn’t move diagonal if i set the Pov in BMS UI Controllers only with up/down/left/right as i did before (even if i set simdonothing to the diagonals or not)

                  B) if i use Saitek HUD software to set the pov to the corresponding keys (shift+arrows) it moves in diagonal but continues autonomous moving after pov release

                  C) i have diagonals and no problems if i set any other hat as i did before (as i can see they are seen as 4 dx buttons and not as Pov from windows device manager in the calibration)

                  Anyone else had similar problems?

It doesn’t move diagonally for me, I only changed it in the game UI and not by adding anything in the keyfile.

Strange, u use my old stick, and it behaves fine with pov cursors, even diagonally…
