Grapics question
-
Alright i have read the manual adjusted settings and have tried a few other things so here is my question. Before i get to that though my system specs are Asus MA599FX PRO 2.0, AMD FX 4170 OC TO 5.1GHZ, 1TB HD IN RAID 0, 16GB 1333 MEM OC TO 1600MHZ, XFX AMD RADEON 5870 @ 950/1200, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 (HELL ILL GO BACK TO 7 X64 IF I HAVE TOO), ATI Catalyst 15.17 drivers, TRACK IR 4 W/TRACK CLIP, HOTAS COUGAR, and MSI afterburner. 4.33 install with Isreal and Balkans installed under both OS’s 8.1 and 10. 4.32 was outstanding smooth and graphics also. 4.33 I have jaggies (the little pointed lines on all of the edges of everything) and i get a noticeable stutter while flying. I know alot of people have been having issues but i would like to know is there anyway to remedy these issues. I thought my hadware was well above the requirements. Videos and pics i see other people posting are for the most part immaculate and look nothing like what i am experiencing. I try too look at others sys specs but not alot have them tacked on. So my question is video card maybe or something else any help would greatly be appreciated. I have honestly been playing falcon since its days of inception and damn sure dont want to quit now……So if i need to change settings, upgrade, or any excellent suggestions im going to make it happen. Cant loose falcon and dont want to go back to 4.32 after getting that taste of 4.33.

Theres a technical term for jaggies. Its ‘aliasing’.
There was a thread about it on FO: http://falcon-online.org/forum/index.php?topic=2104.msg24895
A.S made a post on the topic in a thread called Massive FPS drop, which would have been good to search for as well.
Its just amazing what a brief search can do sometimes, isnt it? The wonders of modern technology, like the Mk1 Eyeball.
