Can't use CTRL + ]

I have my Gear Up key mapped as:AFGearUp 119 0 0x1B 2 0 0 1 “GEAR: LG Handle - UP”
AFGearDown 118 0 0x1B 4 0 0 1 “GEAR: LG Handle - DN”

which is exactly how it is in the Pitbuilders.key file. The key for this is CTRL + ] for gear up and ALT + ] for gear down. This is shown clearly on the Setup->Controllers page. Kolbe’s Excel file (BMS Key File Editor.xls) also confirms that the keys are mapped correctly for gear up and gear down. However, when in-game and I press CTRL + ] on my keyboard, it does not do anything. ALT + ] works though. SHIFT + ] works as well. I tested my keys on the Event Tester from the TARGET Script Editor and there is nothing wrong with my keyboard. Going back to the Setup->Controllers screen and again, no response for CTRL + ] but it still recognized ALT + ] and SHIFT + ]. To add to the confusion, the game recognizes other CTRL commands like CTRL + L or CTRL + K.

Changing the key maps to:AFGearUp 119 0 0x0D 3 0 0 1 “GEAR: LG Handle - UP”
AFGearDown 118 0 0x0D 5 0 0 1 “GEAR: LG Handle - DN”

and it shows up and works in Setup->Controllers, works in-game, but for some reason does NOT show up in Kolbe’s Excel file. So confused now!!

But it’s fixed for the time being with the workaround.
