Unrealistic AoA readings
-
Hi
I’ve noticed that on Tornado and Harrier (While the nuzzles where fully forward and flaps on cruise mode).
on cruise speed and well in the a/c’s speed envelope , you will monitor some strangely negative AoA . that means the flight models should be fixed to become more realistic.

that means the flight models should be fixed to become more realistic.
Well, you are welcome to try to fix it then.

Fly F-16 … Top realistic and no AOA issues.

Hi
I don’t think that my modifications (even if I do any) will improve the situation , Since I have very little knowledge about aerodynamics and almost no access to any reliable (and useful) data about Tornado and Harrier . So , I cannot allow my self to tell this community that I’m giving them more accurate flight model than what the developers of 4.33 gave to them.
The only purpose and intention of this thread was reporting a bug , hoping that It might be fixed in the up coming updates.

… consequences of multi aircrafts attempts of implementation =》 multiple bug, inaccuracy, delay in dev process, frustration for everyone.
Fly F-16 … less bug.
-
…what Dee-Jay says…it’s F-16 BMS, not xyz BMS!

You’re right but I think every one would have preferred having a more accurate Hornet (or one accurate new aircraft other than F-16) rather than having multiple inaccurate aircrafts.
-
Guys it’s simple:
BMS is a F-16 sim
there are other flyable aircrfat but nobody ever said these would be accurate.
If you can’t take it, fly another sim or fly the F-16 onlyBMS is a group of volonteer, there is no time to develop other a/C as the F-16.
Agin, stop moaning it won’t make any difference. Accept it - it not a choice you can make. it’s a choice or a necessity made by the ppl doing the hard work -

Wow, motivational!

i dont think its frustrating for everyone. its just a game limitation. i love flying the viper and having that realistic experience, however all the other jets are great fun too (especially the hornet and harrier and carrier ops)
people are free to play and develop the game how they want.
just have fun with it guys. the guys that do work outside the viper remember that game play is also a very important feature, not just pushing buttons.

Guys, you know what I mean since you are in the first line, you know where limitations are.
I know (we know) that you are working it, but my remark do not only apply to the Hornet.
For the moment, we all know that only the F-16 is considered “hardcore” and that we can’t handle all the available a/c the same way than F-16.
Now, is this issue “reasonably” fixable (?) I do not know.

I am the opposite. Since the release of 4.33 I haven’t flown Viper yet. Only Warthog, Hornet and Harrier. They’re freaking amazing.
Yeah, fine, it is clear that, let say DCS, has better modelled Warthog. But I don’t care. I have never had so much “fun” for the last four years in DCS as I had two days ago when I started Warthog campaign in BMS. Stormy dawn, sneaking into enemy area, MiG 23s and 29s all over me. Like in Falcon 4.0 original intro but without happy ending. I melt into the chair.

Same here, dcs needs game for it , soul etc…
