I am having some issues creating a profile for BMS. I am running the 64 bit exe, and I have created an nVidia profile that points to C:\Games\Falcon BMS 4.33\Bin\x64\Falcon BMS.exe. I am trying different settings, but nothing seems to make a difference in the sim.

      Anisotropic filtering: 16x
Antialiasing - Mode: Override any application settings
      Antialiasing - Settings: 8x CSAA (tried 4x, 8x, etc.)
Power management mode: Prefer maximum performance
      Triple Buffering: On
      Vertical sync: On

The sim looks the same (seeing some shimmering, jaggies, etc.) and my FPS is in the same range (50-58) when sitting in a campaign. I have to think some of these settings would have impacted my FPS. In Falcon I have AA/AF and VS off.

Any idea what I could be doing wrong?

      BTW, running Windows 10 x64 with a GTX 770.

If you turn those settings on in Nvidia, be sure to turn them off in BMS (or vise-versa).

Finally, full system specs might help those who know what they’re talking about (i.e., not me) help you better.

Did you remove the old 4.32 profile? I had to also rename the old 4.32 FalconBMS.exe, otherwise my 4.33 profile would always be reset after closing the control panel.

Thanks Blue. Made sure everything was off in BMS, and deleted/restored any profiles in nVidia Control Panel, and created fresh one in nVidia Inspector. Nothing seems to make any difference.

I didn’t see a profile for 4.32. All I saw was launcher.exe. Restored it to default.

Guys I think I am just going to run with things as they are now. Performance is great, and graphics are more than acceptable. Just going to move on with this profile thing. I updated to the latest nVidia driver, but that did nothing. All good the way it is.

                But thanks for the help.

                  Use:

                  x:\Falcon BMS 4.33\Bin\x64\Falcon BMS.exe for 64-bit

                  Or

                  x:\Falcon BMS 4.33\Bin\x86\Falcon BMS.exe for 32-bit

If you use “Launcher”, I think it closes as BMS opens and hence, you lose your settings. Regardless, use the game exe.

NVIDIA doesn’t recognize it on its own.
                    Solution:
                    1. Download NVIDIA inspector.
                    2. Open its driver profile settings tab and name it as you choose (Falcon BMS 4.33).
                    3. Create a new profile by left clicking the sun button.
                    2. Left click on add aplication to current profile….and point it to your Falcon BMS.exe file within Falcon BMS 4.33\Bin\x64 folder.

                    That’s it.
                    Enjoy 🙂

I did exactly this and it was not making any difference. Which was strange.

Since I read you’re using Windows 10, do you run BMS in compatibility mode?

Nope, but will give that a shot. Thanks!

Try this. I have 580 on my desktop and 500m on my laptop. Bad setting combination can make fps really bad even on good hardware.
