Is the Logitech G940 worth a buy?
-
Hello all. I’ve recently been having a lot of serious problems with my Saitek X52Pro, mostly due to its drivers being incompatible with Windows 10, and they are not exactly rushing to fix this issue. Also I don’t own flight pedals and I’ve been wanting a set.
With all this going on, I’ve been looking at several joysticks from different brands, and I’ve stumbled on the G940. Looks very interesting, but I would like some feedback. Is it a quality product? Does it work well with BMS 4.33? And most importantly, does it have any issues with Windows 10 or are their drivers up to date?
Thanks. -
I own a G940 but I am currently using the X-55 at the moment. I personally prefer the X-55. The G940 works well with 4.33.

If You don’t care for force feedback, I would not recomend You G940. It’s stuff for… DIY junkies, that ususaly sooner or later requires some hardware “tweaking” (sometimes pretty heavy) before it will just let You happily fly.

I use G940 it works fine, but I don’t fly so often. The thing is that it is not longer manufacured and there no new drivers or firmware updates. There is also “reversal” bug which has influence on precision flying so I would prefer Saitek now.

Reversal bug have been eliminated with recent drivers/firmware update and it seems to be no problem now.
