DonLduk's Profile (4.33)
-
As I have rudder pedals, I don’t need the Shifted DMS to act as rudders. What I would like to do is change those two positions to Increase and Decrease Waypoints, But still be in a shifted state. How would I do this without messing up this great profile? I’ve looked in the script and cannot find it anywhere.
I sent you a pm asking the same question. But I thought it might be better ask here incase anyone else wanted to do something similar.

There are 2 different methods depending on the game you are using. you asked me for DCS and there you have to necessary use TARGET, in the PM i sent you the code so you edit the commands.
In BMS, I mapped it in the keyfile, not target, to edit the keyfile do the following:
Open DonLduk TMWH 433.key with notepad
press ctrl-f (to find)
search for “rudder” until you find this block of textDMS/H3
SimRadarAAModeStep 266 -1 -2 0 0X0 0 “”
AFRudderRight 267 -1 -2 0 0X0 0 “”
SimDoNothing 268 -1 -2 0 0X0 0 “”
AFRudderLeft 269 -1 -2 0 0X0 0 “”changethe AFRudderRight and AFRudderLeft text to
SimNextWaypoint
SimPrevWaypointdon’t mess up the spaces, make sure you replace the text only.
save, load the keyfile in BMS, and you should be set.
cheers!

This was for BMS. I’m not messing with a profile for DCS just yet. Thank you so much for your response. I’ll implement it right away.

let me know if this worked for you. thanks

I have verified Stick on ID 0 Throttle on ID1, when I run script it makes my throttle disconnect and dissapear from PC (no lights, no identification in device manager). and now I cant use it at all unless I swap ports and have it auto detect again, even after restart.
Now they are both gone, after I tried a second time.Unplugged restarted, and re-plugged in, still dead, I’m sure if I move USB they will work again, but I want my old ports back and that problem solved before I move on.
Edit: Fixed them back to square one by identifying correct “USB interface device” in device manager and uninstalling.
any ideas?
Final Edit: 100% issue on my end, so I will keep trying to find a fix.
Edit Ender: FIxed by reinstalling Target

Thx!

If you read the .txt with care you will see the structure for the DirectX assigned callbacks. By modifying these you can adapt the profile to your liking. cheers

Thanks for the great profile. Works like a champ.
After I run the script in TARGET (any script for that matter) my controller appears as “Thrustmaster Virtual Game Controller (root)” in the BMS menu, DCS, DXDiag, WIN device manager etc…
I sent a lengthy email to TM support they responded with a “don’t worry about it” explanation. I am running Windows 10 and did not have this problem in WIN 7. The controller and script work fine regardless.
Cheers!

I resolved, the buttons didn’t work due unprogrammed DX buttons in the key file.
Thanks

Awesome profile, but for some reason lately when I try to unmute the mic in TS it doesn’t unlock. When it does it seem to be delayed and the same happens when I push to talk. The would also stick.
