Question on the new .key files
-
I’m comparing the Full.key file with the Pitbuilder.key file and I was surprised to see that there were some bindings in the Full.key that wasn’t in Pitbuilder.key. A quick look and this was mostly toggle switches. However, in the Full.key file, the toggle switch would be mapped but the proper “on” and “off” callbacks would not be mapped to a key combination whereas they would be mapped in the Pitbuilder.key file.
What I’m confused now is which .key file to use. I fly using my own Helios profile with all the in-cockpit switches mapped to the proper switches in Helios (at least it was in 4.32!) so I’m partial to using the Pitbuilder.key file but I also realize some people out there prefer flying with options to toggle switches. Personally, I’d like to keep the toggle switches “just in case” (Helios can crash sometimes).
Any suggestions?
