HOTAS Cougar CCP
-
I reinstalled my Cougar and found out it was working more or less properly if I didn’t turn on emulation. The only thing no working correctly was the communications switch in my throttle, so I decided to uninstall and reinstall some things. I installed Foxy, and the found out my CCP was missing. Now I cannot do anything, as even Foxy needs the CCP. How can I find the CCP once again to reinstall it?
Thank you.

I have Windows 7 64-bit. Now I have a different problem. I installed the files in Cougar World. I reinstalled the Cougar (like 1000 times) following the steps in Cougar World, but Windows says it doesn’t find the Hotas Cougar Data Out driver.

To expand on the information, yesterday I connected the Cougar after quite some time. At first some buttons did not function, but after I turned on emulation mode I only had problems with the Manual Range rotary. So, I tried reinstalling everything, and I lost the CCP, and the functionality in the controller. I cannot flash the firmware, as the computer apparently doesn’t recognize the controller. I have installed the controllers following the steps in Cougar World, I have installed Foxy, but nothing happens.

Well, I finally could install the Hotas Data In / Out, but still the equipment is not recognized. Does anyone have any ideas?

I found out that the device is recognized as a keyboard, but not as a game device.

After much installing, reintalling, uninstalling and registry modification, thanks to you guys in these forums, I found the answer in a copy of a website that no longer exists, but luckily someone had saved it as a pdf document in the following thread:
Thanks for your help pointing me in the right direction!!!

Link seems to be dead now. Can you upload the file someplace? Might help someone else.

You need to go to Blu3wolf’s post to use his shortcut … he’s the guy with it saved and available.

So after DL’ing the correct software from Cubby the Kitty is now installed and even TARGET can see it. However, when I try and open CCP I get an error saying STTubeDevice203.dll is missing??? WTH?! I even re-downloaded and re-installed but I get the same thing. Can anyone shoot me a copy of that file or should I download again?
Thanks guys!
