An important (for me critical) question
-
Hi All,
Let me start with a statement that I fully understand your enthusiasm as well as the tide of euphoria originating from the 4.33 release. Strange as it may sound, at least for the time being, I’m going to stick to the 4.32 version, the reasons being manifold. I don’t think I’m the only one, hence the question. Can we still count on any support with regard to the 4.32? I take it there’ll be no more mods, new theatres etc. intended for 4.32, and it’s perfectly all right with me. But, as the sim is quite complex, a question related to the subject matter or the software functioning may arise every now and then, so will it be OK to post it?
I do realise my question / request may receive no support whatsoever, and, believe me or not, I won’t be disappointed if the reply is ‘get lost you conservative bastard, thou shalt not spoil our fun with some obsolete version issues’
With best regards
Tomasz

What do you mean by “support” ? For sure there will be no more update patches for the 432.
-
I guess support will come from these still using 4.32
It’s very hard to help a guy whose not on the same version as you. So 4.33 guys will reply to you based on memory and that support will be antything but dubious.
The best support you’ll get are from the guys still using 4.32.What are the reasons? FPS?

TommyGun no hard feelings man, of course you still get support, but it will stay at 4.32 no upgrades or any more mods(I think). I still use it, but please consider that we need to move on to 4.33 so we can be all on the same page with 100% support. Soon I will have my new rig!!:D

Thank you, Gentlemen. By ‘support’ I just meant assistance in the case of arising problems impossible for me to solve on my own or with an aid of the documentation available.
I’m perfectly aware that there’ll be no more mods for the 4.32, but I have two separate installs with carefully selected theatres and I have reached the point where everything runs so smoothly and problem free that the idea of abandoning it all now doesn’t particularly appeal to me. An anticipated FPS drop is an obvious obstacle, too.
Anyway, I see some people still post screenshots from the 4.32, which is a good sign! -
