My question is this – are classic OF mods like JanHas skins and the realism patch already rolled in to BMS4? Or if not, are they coming soon?

EDIT: I see on the JanHas website that it’s coming soon for BMS!

You are right! JanHas is working in some projects for the BMS (F-35 / F-16 Block 52M). We are all standing by for the next step! 🙂

For USAF is suppose to be 52CM, what we have in BMS right now. CCIP, JHMCS, etc.

M is the Block 50/52+ Advanced, currently owned by Greece, Poland and Turkey in near future.

Remember, all are different, different things for different countries. Not all 50/52+ are the same.
                Also, for general information.

I’m currently trying to fix those LV F-16, but quite frankly the model tree is a f mess… I think that I’ll create a new tree structure and import the parts into it, create a single subtree for the outer model and fix those lighting problems in 3dMax. The tree structure I can re-use for future F-16 models so it’s worth it. It will take some extra time. I have also created a new Litening pod with a head that will look at the target (new dof usage) and same fix for the SniperXR. I intend to add the new F-16 tail and new horizontal stabilizers (both are ready), fix the P&W petels length and maybe add the half finished big mouth intake if I have the time/energy to do it… let’s call it Launch Vipers 1.5

Also a tumbling MK 77 napalm tank is done.

                    Hi Janhas,

Regarding a tumbling MK 77 tank, would it be possible to implement some oscillation effect for Mk. 82/84, CBU’s, and Paveway II LGB’s?

Have you also any idea when the Dutch MLU’s in the game are updated? The orange demo version would be nice

M is in use by the Greeks because of the new Modular Mission Computer that the new Greek Fighting Falcons have on board. As Raptor said, F-16M is a F-16 Block 52+ Advanced.

Damn, that was a very old request-dream of mine and i actually believed that had minimum chances to be implemented…!! 😛 😉

                                • Will / have you updated Lantirn also with this?

                                • Can we have this feature MP transfered? Guess it requires additionally exe coding from devs?

                                Congrats m8, beers on u!

Jan, do you think it is possible/easy to add a new dof for pilot’s head field-of-view? My thinking is to be able in MP to see where your team pilots look with their Track-IR real time. Could be nice in some comms-out scenarios in ground… :headb:

using the TP dof’s for the head as well (besides normal head dofs…)… interesting idea… Lantirn will also be updated with new dof’s but after this…

Things have changed a bit the last 24 hours. I have decided to get rid of the horrible LV F-16 body and only use parts that are good and mix them with the new F-16 model I have in the shop. New body, already done tail and horizontal stabilizers, updated TP pods and wingtip LAU-129’s, standard JHMCS and the LV F-16 standard engine’s. A sort of a mix of old and new parts. I still haven’t decided what to do with the LV skins. Use them as they are or change the lay-out and use some newer version of the skin… I intend to release the block 50 first and then release subsequent blocks at a later stage. In total not brand new like I intended but a mix of the good old and better new…
