Magnetic (?) switches
-
If I understand this correctly, this is what you call the switches that can change position by themselves, correct?
I know the F-16 has this type of switch for:
Parking Brake
Pitch Autopilot
JFS
FLT Control BITAre there any other magnetic switches on the jet?
-
-
MLU also has magnetic for A/P roll
And the FLCS test (semi comparable to BIT on block50) is a normal red sealed toggle switch (not a round head) magnetic. -
Mag switches of this type do not change position by themselves. However they are Held electricity in position.
So when the current to the electromagnet is cut, the switch flips back to its neutral position. -
Thanks for the explanation! It seems like I’m only missing the Eng Max Power switch which isn’t implemented yet, correct?
-
correct
-
Les important too. Don’t know about other blocks but in mlu that switch isn’t even wired anymore in tje real jet.
-
Max power is not wired at any aft.
-
AIC software and electronics fully integrate these switches just FYI. - Recommended. Www.Vipercore.nl
