Bad Timing on Tanker squadron
-
I am near the end of day of RF campaign. Can’t frag missions for the tanker squadron any more. Always bad timing. Currently, all tankers are sitting home doing nothing. I stretch the takeoff time to 4 hours later, but still getting bad timing. What am I doing wrong here?

Are you selecting T/O or TOT for time? It takes a while to transit from Kadena.
Falcon simulates to some degree the turnaround time for returned aircraft, maximum %/# available to be scheduled by ATM/MTM per “round”, and so on.

I am always using takeoff time. The funny thing is that currently no tanker is airborne anywhere. They are all at base chilling and flirting with girls.

I figured out what is wrong. Basically the area you can frag a tanker missions is restricted compared to 4.32. For example, if you try to frag a tanker mission whose patrol loop is near Kimpo it will give you bad timing no matter what time settings you have (be it TOT or T/O or 7 hours from the current time). However if you frag it near say Kunsan area, it won’t give you bad timing. Feel like there is a certain latitude that tankers can’t go north of. I also tested moving the tanker from Kadena up to Sanchon. It still gives bad timing. It seems the takeoff location doesn’t matter. Just you can’t frag missions up north. So the current workaround is to frag the mission first then unlock each waypoint and move them where ever you want. The only problem is that if you have HAVCAP for the tanker, you have to change their waypoints as well. It’s kinda hassle because you have to go into their individual squadrons to do it.

There is a bug here. This is the trick:
First you create the flight as training, not tanker, and then delete it. After this next time the system lets you create the flight as tanker without bad timing message. -
