Possible a new theater at Kuril Islands?

I remember the old Jane’s Navy fighter had a couple of great theaters. One of which was about a marine expeditionary force trying to conquered Kuril islands from Russian with the help of JSDF. In that campaign, AV8B was the main protagonist. Since we have a great AV8B now, you know what I am talking about:D

no working amphibious landing, so… it’s hard to maintain the rolling of island type war. it can only be done as a pure ground war on Hokkaido.

Any “island” or with huge sea/ocean are type theater is currently “no go” from my aspect in Falcon universe because what you mentioned and some more other issues. As long an navy does not have such ships where SAMs can target ASM or any incoming missile threat and do not have CIWS, these theaters seems to me not enjoyable. Also would need better SAM relocation, etc.

Sorry about the late entry gents, the Thanksgiving month/week is an especially demanding time us folks in the US airline industry. That being said, I will admit that I am working with a team that includes EGHI on a Kurile theatre. Eghi’s screenshot is indeed from our build. Also, the Kurile theatre will have working campaigns once it is publicly released. For now, that is all I can say. Like EGHI said, it will be 30 to 40 Falcon weeks.
