I’m sure many of you already have your own configs that work just fine, and/or have already figured this out. I have noticed on the boards quite a few that appear to be a few interested in have the Rotary knobs on X-55 work for trim. I experimented and have a setup that appears to work pretty well. I bound mine to Rotaries 3 and 4 for Wing Up/Down and Nose Up/Down, leaving mine stick hats free for DMS/TMS/CMS functions. Let me know if any interest and I will try to post it.

I use my rotary knobs for FOV zoom, radar up/down , Range knob, etc…

Trim is in hat in Real F-16 so i try to Keep it accurate as possible 🙂

I use the small upper hat on the throttle for the cms, the lower one for the radar cursor. The top right hat on the stick i use for trim. Also I use the rotaries for the hud and hmcs in ramp start mode 1, I switch to mode 2 once airborne, and the rotaries now are cmds program and com 1 volume, works well enough for me 😉
