i did set g_fAIRefuelSpeed 0, but no use, AI seems like using starwar tech to drain the fuel from tanker.
i hate my wingman doing better than me - not only in pub.

I know it always seems to take me longer to refuel than my wingie when flying online, but having timed it, it comes down to it just seeming to take longer. Could that be it?

          Beautiful analogy! 😄

          Although, Blue is probably right.

Funny you say that. I did the AAR training flight only last night, where I started with approx. 5000lbs and two wingtanks. I though the time it took me to go from 5000ish to full was a lot longer than my wingman, who I was assuming had a similar fuel quantity when cleared to connect. Might do it again and time it, with a fuelstate query just before he hooks up.

EDIT - scrub that. He starts with 10,600 as opposed to my 5,500lbs.

With 4.33 Ai must have a very efficient fuel management. In the past they where burning fuel like crazy.

                Einstein’s relativity theorem at work.

“If you’re refueling from a tanker, two seconds feel like two minutes.
If you’re watching your wingman refuel, two minutes feel like two seconds.”

Lol…. its is a lot harder in 4.33. I am have a bitch of a time staying on. everytime i come off my wingy starts to crowd in on the boom. Needless to say I have corrected him a few time with him ending up in a ball of flames, he cant seem to get the point.

Your wingie should only go for the boom after you call “done refueling”. So you might just want to into post-contact position first. 😉

When I’m done refueling in AAR TE the tanker is in the middle of his turn give or take, the wingman refuels very fast, finished before turn is done, so I think malc is right, he has more fuel when TE begin.

set g_fAIRefuelSpeed 1 // Sets a multiplier factor so AI refuel faster on the boom
