TE editor bug? concerning holding points
-
I was trying to play around with the holding points today, and stumbled on a possible bug here. When first planning a flight, BMS now creates a holding point. Adjusting the patrol time automatically adjusts the timing for the waypoint that follows after that. However if you delete the holding point, and then recreate it, this no longer works. The holding point is created, and you can set a patrol time, but the patrol time is no longer taken into account for the next waypoint.
I’m aware of the arrival and departure times that steerpoints have. So i checked what was happening with mission commander, cross checking a fresh planned flight, with a flight that has its holding point deleted and then recreated. MC shows the timing flag not being set, wich results in the departure time not being set for the holding point, according to the patrol time.
can anyone confirm here?
Work around off course: dont delete the first created holding point. But if you would like to have a second holding point further on in the mission, this stil doesnt work.

Lock the time on Push (Push is a TRP and must not be changed), Unlock all previous TOS.
Add Patrol Time (from 4 to 8min) … it will change your departure time.

Nope, doesnt work.
again, i’m NOT talking about the push and holding point that are created when you create a flight. I’m talking about deleting those points, and then recreating them. When you create these points yourself, it doesnt seem to work.
