Might be a good idea to put the links on this page as well.

            Hello,
I am trying to use your software with BMS 4.33.
I have a butt kicker style system I built which consists of a plate amplifier to which my sound card is connected and the amplifier is connected to a feedback transducer or “shaker”.
When I run BMS I can hear your software creating noise that sounds like electrical spikes but I feel no vibrations.
I have enabled BMS support under Special Options and selected Sound mode under the Service tab.
            Any ideas?
            Thanks

              Hello asarjip,
Please have a look at this article http://dreamsimteam.blogspot.ru/p/simshaker-and-buttkicker.html

              Sound Module basic setup

              1. Select your transducer tied sound card in drop-down list. Generally it should be a dedicated one, to allow us not mix special low frequency sounds with game sounds.
              2. If you have 2 transducers for left and right sound channels, please select transducers number.
              3. Play test low frequency sound to setup a max level at your amplifier.
              4. Go test flight.

I think the reason is that you do not use the second sound card (or USB headset, or HDMI output to LCD/TV, etc. ) to separate SimShaker generated sounds and BMS sounds.

                Thanks for quick reply.
Yes, currently my bass shaker is being run from the sub-woofer output of my motherboards sound card.

                  Andre,

I just tried my JetSeat with BMS 4.33. I get pretty much all the effects as listed, however, I get a noticeable noise from either one or more of the motors in the seat. It’s a constant “beeping” sound. I know I’ve read of others with the noise issue, but it is more prevalent for me in BMS as opposed to other sims. If you’re looking for feedback, there you go. I appreciate it may be a hardware problem as opposed to anything in the software you provide, but I thought I’d throw it out there for you. Any ideas?

                    Hi Ron,
                    thanks for your feedback 🙂
Tell me please at wich particular effect(s) you can hear that constant “beeping” sound?

                      Andre,
I notice it when the effects kick in for the afterburner, as well as deploying the speed breaks. Once I drop the speed below any stage of afterburner, of course the effects diminish as well as the beeping noise. At first I thought it was a sensor in the A/C such as RWR, as BMS has done some amazing work providing us with as realistic a sim as possible, so initially I thought the sound was from the plane itself. But turning off the SimShaker via the control switch makes it stop so I know it’s in that aspect of the JetSeat. Not a deal breaker, but I haven’t noticed such a noise when using the JetSeat with other flight sims ie. DCSW.

I got it working with the Buttkicker. I like it a lot better than using the bass sound. No more rumble seat for the voices of my squad members (that was creepy:shock:).
I had to really search though to find the sound module software download to make it work.

                                  System Specs:

                                  Main: i7-3930K @ 4.0 GHz, 32Gb Corsair 2133-DDR3 RAM, RTX 2080ti, 1Tb Samsung SSD + 5x Samsung SSD's, 1.0KW Corsair PSU, SB Fatal1ty Recon3D Professional, Sennheiser PC360, 30" Dell LED/24" Acer LED, Corsair K70, Cougar MFDs, Cougar FSSB-R2 + WH grip, TUSBA TQS + CubPilot HALL mod, 4x CH MFP's, BU036A, BU036X, TrackIR5 + DelanClip, Simpeds, Gametrix KW-908 Jetseat + Buttkicker Gamer2, 3rd Space vest.

                                  Secondary: 2x 19" LED, 2x 8" VGA, 2x 7" USB, 14" LED, MFDE.

                                    Hi Icarus,
                                    good news,
but I don’t quite understand why did you have to search for Sound Module download? It’s already included in SimShaker distributive package. End user just need to switch Sound Mode On as shown below.

Ok, but how do you choose the soundcard? I see no options for that unless I install sound module separately.

Sound Module should be statrted automatically by SimShaker. I do not provide separate Sound Module distributive. Where did you get it? I suppose it may be wrong one.
