Installation- does not recognize Allied force CD or install

Good Afternoon Gentlemen

Trying to experience this mod but its not working for me. The install does not seem to recognize the original install location, or the DISC. It ask me to locate the CD or the original install folder, but it will not allow me to continue past this points, installation also freezes when i point it at the original CD. I tried pointing it at 1.06 version, and at clean install version to no avail.

any help would be greatly appreciated, im trying to get my dials to be displayed on a second screen and i thought this mod would help me accomplish that.

im running windows 7 64 bit and havent expierenced any other problems with my other titles.

Q: What software do I need to install BMS? The installer is asking for the location of the original Falcon CD. What if I have Falcon 4.0: Allied Force? Will that work?

A: You need the original Falcon 4.0 and the BMS installer. F4:AF will not work.

Q: Where can I get Falcon 4.0?

A: Falcon 4.0 can be obtained either from http://www.gog.com or find a used copy on Ebay

Ive been reading the Common BMS/Update Installation Questions thread. I have two copies of the CD but they are both later versions. My earlier version dissappeared in the 90’s I think. I am not interested in spending anymore money on this title as good as it is.
