Hello all.
Real squadrons… OK I prefer them too, but I am brazilian and I don’t understand very well the American squadrons,I will make a search on google.Weapons bays… Yes, if it would be possible, I also would like to make all possible animations(I need to learn how to animate using 3dsmax first) ( let’s go a little bit slow) there are too many things to do/to learn.
Neystratiou wrote a list of many squadrons I will check all of them (with the correct time, be patient comunity)
about “Creating license plates” … I will read all documentation related to that.
I will think how to organize all textures. Thanks again to all who are helping

Looks amazing, get rid of the test nose probe though. I’ve been working this aircraft at Langley afb for 6 years now and its pretty spot on.

Excellent work, will be waiting.

Eystratiou sent to me pictures of some USAF squadrons and I am already working on this. here some pics:
Please let me know if something is wrong about the squadrons marks. I will soon add more pictures of the WIP -

I’m glad to be helpful to your great work with F-22 ;)!
Nice tails, e.g. the “03-049” from 27th FS of 1 FW at Langley AFB.
Just keep your good work high my friend.

Nikos. Please My friend, and all comunity, let me know if something is wrong. Eg colors, location of the letters, etc. I will make my best to fix everything if possible…

Okay, I am confused now. Do I not see two different models of the F-22? One by Metalhead and one by 611-eagle?
-
I’m resuming with my other models from one step back

I think the bump effect of the panels is a bit too much, makes it look like some kind of heavily armored machine. The real F-22 looks smoother http://topwalls.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/f22-photo.jpg
Other than that, it looks cool! All the best for this project

Thanks for your reply Thunder. I understood, and will try to reduce the bump effect. But I do not promise it will be good enough, and I’ll left this work for the final (to the end).
I need to think how to make that. Perhaps reducing the black and white colors of the lines on the “panels” (light and shadows lines). For now I ma working in the squadrons marks and nose gear. It needs a nose gear . -

I am a little bit confused about that too…

@611-eagle:
JUST DO IT! I’m over F-4E
Okay, understood WIP yet

Keep up the good work man, really nice to see the F-22 model. I am anxious to try it!!!
-
A bit OT maybe, but I’ve understood that the F-22 has a very small radar signature and a relatively big IR signature. (Nice for long range IR sensors and missiles.) Is the specific IR signature of an aircraft part of a data file and does it make a difference ingame?
