Microstick not working after reboot

If I run HOTAS CCP and click apply then launch BMS, the microstick works correctly both in the menu (controller section) and in game. However, once I’ve rebooted, the microstick will not work until I relaunch HOTAS CPP and click apply once more. All other functions appear to be working.

Startup & Calibration section has auto calibration selected with a calibration file and the startup options has “load the following profile” ticked with my saved profile selected.

msconfig shows a “HOTAS Cougar” startup entry enabled with a command to run HOTASConfig.exe with the switches /MODE /FOXY /AW /DA /BU “/PC:\Program Files…path to my profile.tmc”.

Anyone have any idea as to why the microstick setting is not surviving reboots and what I may need to configure to fix it?
