I recently purchased a new Acer g237hl IPS panel monitor. The main reason behind this was to be rid of my old TN panel and enjoy greater depth of color. All was well. Until i noticed some ghosting effects on my wingman as I panned my view using TrackIR. I then did some ghost tests such as the UFO(google result) and confirmed the ghosting. Using the OSD buttons on my monitor I found an OD(overdrive) setting. I turned it up as I was not sure what exactly it did and you know… science. Well that definitely did not fix the issue. So I turned it off. No ghosting! Excellent! Until I entered the sim again. Ghosting Wingman. I cycled the setting while in the sim. Ghosting gone. I exit the sim. Tested with the UFOs. Ghosting back. What…

EDIT: I just tried to replicate the problem and it worked. I did not even have to go into the 3d world. Launching BMS caused the ghosting to re-appear, which is still fixed by cycling my monitors OD setting.

If i launch different games such as Rocket League or The Witcher 3 this does not happen at all…
