Falcon BMS on GNU/Linux

PlayOnLinux doesn’t enhance Wine.
See AppDB of Wine actual for software that works with Wine.
As for “version of Linux” the question doesn’t make sense.

There’s an update.
Native Direct3D9 implementation got picked up by several people. It half-worked, now it works to the point of getting 85-90 frames in BMS with R6970. One caveat, HDR makes whole screen blue. Frames without HDR.

Hi folks,
I’m also trying to get BMS to work on Linux Mint 18.1 (cinnamon) 64bit. So far BMS appears to work nicely in 32bit, but when I select the 64bit executable I get weird parts on the airplane body and many other graphics errors.
As for headtracking (I’m currently using FTNoIR on the win7 side), what’s the “best” solution currently on Linux? I’ve been looking at opentrack and linuxtrack.
All the best & many thanks in advance for your comments,
Uwe

Got the sim working (not reliably yet, sometimes it crashes on the 5th loading bar when entering 3d) in 64 bit. Disabled all gfx effects for now and it seems I can enter the 3d world in 64bit reliably.
Will keep you posted as I test more.
Cheers, Uwe
