Advanced Flight Model for other aircrafts!

Can you work on the f22 fm afm? I could install the f22 in the new BMS433 but it does not accept the latest fm from432 without CTD…
Regards MetalheadDid you add the vapor trails to the FM?
#----------------------------------------------------- # Vapor data #----------------------------------------------------- 0 #Total Number of vapor chains - MUST MATCH THE REAL NUMBER OF CHAINS DEFINED LATER OR YOU'LL GET CTDs! #

No Sir, thanks, i will check it

I still hope in SU-27 AFM version (advanced, beyond normal AOA flight regimes)… Is it much harder to make it?

I simply do not get your thrust char curves. These are MIL and full AB curves of AL-31.

http://kepkezelo.com/images/reodg2e1d59egy7mtbym.pngYou should have a look at 4.33 Su-27 FM…
All these curves (and more) have been injected in the 100% new OFM
The 4.33 performances values (level flight acceleration, sustained turn rates…) fit Su-27 performance manual charts at +/-5% at max (and in general +/-2.5%)
Only fuel flow has not been tuend so accuratly…
So if you want a “better” or “more accurate” Su-27 FM than the 4.33 one, you’ll need to have some evidence of its innacuracy. -

Any chance this kind of work would fix the broken F-18 flight model if done ? Asking because flying F-18 right now is a pure waste of time, completely OP…

Join Date Sep 2015 and already trying to piss some one off.
Its easy to be a critique with out showing proof, but don’t bother cause we know its not perfect but still a lot better then it was.
Good Day Sir.

I quite like supercruising at 70,000ft in the hornet.

hornet is Xwing due to mistake in AFM porting….
will be fixed or fly OFM

Is it possible to have AFM with non-F16 ACs? I thaught only one AFM can be active…so some tweaks/substitution necessary.
Su27 is OFM (means no cobras etc.)…OK?

any ac can have its own AFM… look at f18 or av8 (obviously for thrust vectoring)
the level of accuracy of them will be millions ligthyears behind f16 due to lack of data but at least it will give you something else than rigid on rail ofm

ahhha… it was perhaps related to nonFBW AFM….we can have only one type of AFM active - FBW or nonFBW right?
BTW is there any Su-27 (even WIP) AFM FM available - for application of that clever alpha tweak (double kulbit, cobra, kolokol etc) …chinese simmer has posted nice videos about it (unfortunally with F-16 AFM IIRC)

I guess ur talking about this? https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?22812-Su-35-Kulbit-Maneuver-Demo
Actually I planned to make a new one for Metalhead’s F-22 after 4.33 release. Also some coefficient tweak I think. But just as JP said, BMS offers a FM environment as rich as any other sim for a developper. Maybe we’ll see something with TVC integrated into FLCS in 3-4 weeks.

yes, I mean your tweak. It would be great even without TWC for now… just need Su-27 family AFM
I will love it with my tweak https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?22654-SU-30-Hardpoints&p=334712&viewfull=1#post334712 (and new dedicated simdata!)…with winter textures somewhere over St. Petersburg

I think I can start with 4.33 vanilla Su-27 OFM which is pretty good below 40 AOA, and a combination of CL/CD data from MaverickF22 for AOA above 40deg…And then my AFM tweak…Just wanna see what will happen.

no, you can have both active in the same time , i dont see why not !! ???

I am confused…there was some limitation…I just can not recall what limitation. Some tweaking was needed to activate A-10 nonFBW AFM…that was the reason I never tried it…
sorry -

sorryno tweak needed, jump in cockpit and you have NFBW FM … (believe me you will feel it immediatly LOL)
