What should I transfer - Backup…

Lol
I just got the new (used) hw and It’s a total nightmare to start setting it up…
A total mess… where to start from…
I have the OS Win7 Ult 64 bit and the tool (will write down later on) to make the usb stick.
I have downloaded the motherboard drivers.
I have the antivirus ready. This will be for the development setup and not for the flying hdd.
I don’t care about Falcon Logbook (never did) a fresh new one will be ok…
There was a mess with HOTAS IIRC. Not the installation but transferring some files like profile IIRC.hmmm…
I must export the Trackir profile IIRC cause I did something lastly.Development Software wise  I just don’t think about it. The only thing that saves me is that I will at some day put the old hw to another case and fire it up so if I get stack to something I might be able to use it as reference.
By any chance do you think if I fire up my flying falcon ssd with the new hardware do you think it will save me the trouble? or it will just fubar everything up?
For sure I will back it up first… I might just try it for the fun of it.Anything else I should take care before I remove the guts out of it? Any tips or heads up?

Well best practice was to just skip them all and go for it…
First Install (dev version on HDD not SSD) almost ready, today I installed cougar. yeeeaaaaa…
Hopefully before weekend I will fire up Falcon for the first time on the new hw.I just can’t believe how fast it is, and how much time I was wasting with just waiting for the dev setup about 5 minutes to just boot up to desktop.
Overall with just air cooling on 4ghz without cpu stress it runs fine.
And I might be lucky on getting it to 32GB ram… yeeeessss…

I finished this weekend my new install for 433. New W7P SP1 (without any further updates as it is only for BMS) and the whole Cougar, EHSI, iFlyBMS stuff and only the .lbk made it from the 432 install.
It was a PITA to install this whole pile of crap but it runs faster and smoother than my 432 system. Its worth it!
