How many missiles…

Hi,

do have e.g. a single SA-3 to fire on you?

I’m asking, because I had a TE for an OCA with one single SA-3 site and IIRC the last count of mine was eight missiles, which was the one, that shot me done in that flight. (Sure, not all were fired at me, I had a AI-wingman too )
And now I’m wondering if a SA-3 site can go out of missiles…

They probably have a finite ammount before supplies are needed, but keep in mind that one site has several launchers. If using the TE Builder, you can’t place single launchers (afaik), only units with several vehicles.

Use the TE editor to place a virgin SA3 battalion and you will see how many launchers there are.

Even recon in Campaign should give you that info.

Looks like 4x4, so 16 missiles

They never seem to run out until the site is destroyed in campaign

yes it is, the Patriot is a good example. I already see the patriot out of missile after a big battle, and it need few hours to reload and be operational again.

Oh yeah I have seen that happen regularly too. Interesting. I am sure Molni knows available stores and resupply data.

I think, once a day I will try to avoid 16 missiles from e.g. a SA-3, and if I will be hit by #17 I will post again

You love doing it the hard way, LOL.

Why don’t you simply enable “Invulnerable” and “Unlimited Fuel” in Setup,
and then circle above that SA-3, counting the missiles,
… with a smile in your face ???
