I have been trying to host a campaign with two to three clients with out to much success. Everyone is able to connect to the chat lobby but when they try to connect to the campaign most are stalled at “waiting for data” or they do not see the map. I have read through the forms and have tried enable and disable my DMZ in my router but I still have the same issue. I have all the ports forwarding per manual as well. I have my speed set to host to 5000. All clients are connected at 1024 and I have the following settings enabled below in my Falcon BMS.cfg file.
      set g_nForceMinClientBwSetting 1024
      set g_nRemoteControlSurfacesInterval 0
      set g_bHostAllowsDubiousConnections 1

My speed test results is displayed below.

We have also tested the campaign by allowing another to host it with out any problems so its not a problem campaign issue.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.
      Thanks

Draw that ForceMinClient first, you don’t need it ….

Are you asolutely sure all the needed ports are open and correctly forwarded? Or that your ISP is not filtering them for some reason?
BMS needs both TCP and UDP ports in the range 2934-2937, you can easily check with this online tool or, if you want to test them all in one single pass, try Simple Port Tester… you have to start BMS before you check, of course! 😉

Set dupiousconnections to zero. Its only way to be sure that someone with ports closed etc wont come and ruin game 🙂

Clients should have ports open too.

It looked like it was my Norton Antivirus being funny.

              Thanks for the help.
