Training missions and cockpit layout

I have just started the first training mission and am confused. The cockpit layout seems to be different to the text in the training manual e.g. external lights are on the right console- am I missing something?

Interior light panel on the right side. Look next to your left hip, that is where you will find the exterior lighting panel.

Thanks for your quick reply. However I am still confused. The external lights panel is definitely on the right hand side for me-

In fact the whole cockpit set up is different to the manual- do I have the right aircraft?

This is the a10 cockpit. You must select the training flight (ence the f16) on the left of the map when you are in the UI.

That’s some funny stuff! Didn’t the twin engine RPM, etc dials seem a bit … Odd?

Looks like I’ve been shot down before I’ve even started. The splash screens did show the F16 though- that’s my excuse!
