Just got my Samsung EVO 850 250GB SSD today, so i cloned win 10 to it, but i still left the windows files on the Hard Drive, then i BMS and reinstalled it on the SSD

Now i got a little problem, i still got 50 gigs free, but everytime i start BMS, i press launch and get the normal screen, but then i get on my desktop, not in game, so i try to open it and it throws me right again to my desktop.

What can i do to stop that behaviour, i never had a problem with it on the HDD

My specs are ok for BMS and all Drivers are up do date.

Did you move BMS install folder to the SSD? I think they both have to be on the same drive for BMS to work.

This is not correct, you can have the install/setup folder on a different drive.

So you didn’t cloned the disks but you did something else… I done it in the past with the exact same SSD and had zero problems.

What exactly did you do on the Bold underlined section text?

                Glad it works…

What I actually meant to say was the Setup folder. In my case, with Setup folder in my HDD and BMS on SSD, I would get launch screen but buttons for launching game IVC etc. were greyed out (not clickable). When I put Setup folder in SSD, it works as it should. Is this wrong?
