So I really love BMS, but I have thing I would like to change or fix and I need some help.
I really hate how sometimes when planes are killed by guns the just evaporate.
I tried the one particle system mod, but it made all the effects worse imo. Now I dont even get explosions.
So I need one of two things.

someone to direct me to a good effects mod

Or, help me do the following. BMS has a really cool flames plus smoke effect, but it only happens sometimes. I dont really like the big massive fireball thing. Id like to mod the game so that teh flames/smoke trail is 100% of destroyed planes.
