Shimmering/Flickering textures in TGP/Mav views

From reading the forums this seems to be fairly common problem from what i can gather. I’ve tried playing around with my video card (AMD R9 270x) settings as per a few of the posts on this subject already but nothing seems to make any difference.
The problem is shimmering and flickering textures (particularly unit models) on the TGP/MAV MFD views.
Problems occur in both IR and TV modes. Most noticeable/worse in TV mode though.
I’m just posting in case anyone has found a solution to this as it’s very off putting. I’ve even been looking at SA-6’s through the TGP before now in Balkans and wondering why they are shimmering so badly and why I can’t point track them only to realise they are actually still behind a hill and the TGP is for some reason looking through the hill side which is flickering.
Very rare that happens though. Unit’s shimmering all the time though.

Have you set 3D graphics controls to " use application settings " in AMD Catalyst control center or the new name AMD calls it graphics control application now. I have AMD HD 6770M graphic card, anytime I override the use application settings control in CCC I get the shimmering display on my MFD. Hope this help.

Yes multisampling and anistropic filtering and disabled in BMS and forced on in my AMD Radeon settings. This did fix the moire issues with terrain around coastal areas but not my TGP/Mav views i’m afraid.

Sorry i misread your first post. I will retry as per your instructions.
Edit: After testing using application settings has made no difference, still shimmering/flickering units, buildings etc.
