What "PadlockModeAA" and "PadlockModeAG" internal views are for?

I programmed them to see what they do, but when i select them i only get a view of my HUD. They don’t padlock the aircraft i’m looking. I have to use Padlock next/previous AA for padlocking the aircraft i want.
Can’t figure out what they are for, and how to use them, if they have any use at all.
