Lightnings MFDE: MLU gauges & AOA tape
-
For those who fly the MLU (maybe block 40 CCIP also, not familiar enough with that block type), I have made small changes to the engine & hyd gauges and the AOA tape to mimic the colored markings and the approach indication.
I also tried to make the yellow DED more green like MLU, and change the font to resemble to fatter more realistic font. Color seems alright, but the font is not there yet.Just backup the original files and replace them with these. Should be somewhere like C:\Program Files (x86)\MFDE\images\

Hi, thanks for the files.
Is there a way of changing the DED font from that horrible yellow to the green font on the virtual pit? -

I am wondering if anyone is having this problem:
When I depress DMS down on the Hat Joystick (Saitex 52) all of the extracted MFDE gauges turn green.
See picture. It doesn’t affect the operation of the program but it is a little annoying since I am not flying at night. -

Check MFDE settings under the hotkey tab. You can map several DX or keystrokes to several things (like changing the mach meter index, and also NVG toggle). You probably have dms down set as hotkey for nvg, or the keystroke in bms for dms down contains a key that is set as hotkey for nvg in mfde. -
Thanks Focaldesign,
I will try this
