Hi good people. Does anyone know how to access the F16 in the first training Mission 1 Ground Ops. I printed out the a big chunk of info Part 1 Basic Handling etc and that manual is great but the actual training mission plane is a Hog NOT a F16??
Any ideas anyone?

Hello Gazace
You see the box top left corner when you open the Mission with ‘Commit’? Three ‘Mission Flights’ Third on the list is ‘Training’ - click on this one to get to F16 aircraft and then click Takeoff -

training manual page 6
The training missions are accessed through the Tactical Engagement (TE) part of the BMS user interface (UI). By default the leftmost tab named TRAINING is selected so you will see the list of missions available. Click on a mission and more windows will appear on the right side of the user interface. The bottom right corner windows give a very short summary about the selected TE. Click the commit button to launch the TE. The mission may be single ship or multiple ship and include other flights that are not F-16s. Your pilot will automatically take the first seat available, the flight lead’s position, but you can take any seat according to the mission setup. Choose the F-16 flight. The missions will start with a stopped clock. As most of the training missions start in the air, that will leave you plenty of time for flight planning. When you are ready simply click the TAKEOFF icon on the bottom right of the UI to launch to 3D.

No problem - many Missions/Tactical Engagements default to different aircraft after you click ‘Commit’ - could be an A-10, AWACS, F-18 or anything - clue is always the outline of the aircraft shown in the bottom box when you click on the Mission Flight within the list. Make sure you click on a Mission Flight that has the aircraft that you want to fly - for flights of more than one aircraft you then can click on any of the aircraft outlines in the box to choose your position in the flight - top one will be ‘Lead’, or you can choose to be #2 or #3 etc, within the flight

It’s very much appreciated and I just finished dumping all the manuals and documentation onto my galax tab, so it’s going to be easier for referencing now. Oh well so much for the 3 litres of ink I just wasted… geez live and learn lol Thanks again kind souls.
