      Hello,
I’m new to Benchmark sims site so i’d like to say Hey to everyone and share me set-up:

      Motherboard: Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3
      Processor: AMD FX-8320
      Memory: CORSAIR 16GB VENGEANCE PRO
      Graphics: MSI R9 380X
      Logitech: KEYBOARD
      Saitek: X-55 CONTROLLER AND THROTTLE
      Water Cooled

Now I have downloaded everything that I believe to get going, BUT I’m having trouble with the controls and I really could use some help with this. Just looking for a direction to start flying. It seems like I’ve tried everything. Is there anyone who could give me some Help? Thank You Thomas [email protected]

do you mean that you’re looking for X-55 profiles top use?

No I’m not sure to load the profiles in right. When I load and go to push the throttle increase the plane starts spinning and spinning until I go to the ground. Now I really not sure if I or where I load these profiles. I really need to know the right way to load the profiles. Thank You for responding.

Not positive, but you have to make sure the throttle is in single throttle mode some how?

Go into the setup in the sim, go to controller section and make sure that the X55 is the stick recognized, then press advance button and next go into the throttle controls section and map the throttle to the X axis- Rhino Pro x55 throttle. Hit apply and there you go.

Ok i’ve done that in the sims, the question I’m having is the saitek set-up outside the sims. Does the .pr0 need to loaded there? For this to work? or does it matter?

Your .pr0 is loaded independently of the sim. You should have a ‘Rhino’ icon somewhere on your system tray, most likely near the right end. Right click on it and load your active profile.

Only program those controls not recognized by the sim via SST programming. Use direct (DX) assignments in the sim wherever you can.

Hey guys, New to BMS. Been playing around for a few weeks. Printing out all the docs was quite time consuming but so worth it to have easy access for reference. There is an issue i am coming across where when i use my x55 z rot axis for rudder i also have roll. \so when i twist the stick to yaw say left, i also start to roll left after maybe 7 or 10 degrees of yaw. I have been trying to stumble my way through with not success. I map roll axis to keyboard and z rot to rudders and it still rolls. map roll to keybard and z rot to yaw trim and still roll. I have linked nws steering disabled because i dont need with the twist stick and taxi is just fine with nws so i am realy stumped. I installed bms on my laptop with fresh driver installs for the x55 fresh install of falcon 4.0 and bms 4.3.1 first thing map axis and load instant action and check the yaw and it rolls just the same. So i am stumped because all others sims i play it doesnt do that. so i am looking for some callback or code that i can change so that the roll axis isn’t tied to the rudder axis. Thanks to the devs or players that could help me solve this issue. I did also notice in the deafaultdevice ini that the x55 axis is unfinished. it says delete # before guid and insert axis here

For me, my x55, the twist rudder works to a point. The rudder in bms is odd, twisting left doesn’t really make the jet go smooth left, it sort of wobbles about. If I keep it to small amounts it’s ok, If I put full lock in it goes all over the place but apparently it’s meant to be like that?. I never use the rudder much anyway, apart from nws that is.

I suggest you both start a new thread with your issues… It is considered somewhat rude to hijack someone else’s topic

If I may add - regarding the twisting:

Do you have any other controllers attached too?

Probably a gamepad or something else where input might come from?

I don’t have any issues, I was merely attempting to help another user, forgive me

@ SnowSky no just the X55, ive just learned to deal with it for. I ran through the first 5 training mission over and over till i had a good handle. I ordered the warthog hotas and ch pro ruders and hopefully it’ll be better. Thanks
