Can I fast forward to the Taxi?

Hi Aces!
Just wondering is there a way around not having my training mission close down before I’m ready to Taxi out? I was nearly finished my final sweep and phhftt everything ended, yea I was taking lots of time I guess. Do I use the “freeze” key or “pause” to stop this and why does it happen anyway? Is it because of the designated departure time or some other reason?

Hey Gazace,

After committing to the mission on the first loadscreen just select “TAXI” to start with all “systems go” on the platform or “TAKEOFF” to be positioned on the runway.
I don’t know why everything ended, never happend to me during rampstart. Keep practicing and you will get it done in time.
If you need to check the manuals during rampstart, best to pause the sim.

You are auto end mission’d if you don’t takeoff prior to some time after your scheduled takeoff time (15-20min sounds right). Freeze will allow you to manipulate switches without time passing in the simulation. Pause is frozen so it’s useful for going to the bathroom.

It’s possible to change the T-20:00 ramp time to something longer or shorter but with more practice you’ll get much faster at it and be twiddling your thumbs for the last 3-4 minutes waiting taxi.

Something goofy here because if you did choose ramp start, it should not end (at least within a reasonable amount of time) with you suddenly being put out to taxi.
