Would anyone want or see a need to startup a flight sim business? Would you attend? If so how much would you play for a 30 min flight within BMS? I know there are several hear in southern California, and from the looks of it they are doing well, well at least 1 is still open.

Using bms as the main system with cockpits without motion…Would you say after the first year the fad will die down…Would your main focus group be to the young pilots and the guys or girls that wished they choose to get into aviation or couldn’t?

Would you try and get a contract with the military to log flight hours…
I intend to gather research at air shows, festivals, corporate outings etc… I would consider having a permanent store setup that would consist of briefing rooms, training room, and much higher fidelity simulators. This setup up could be used then for entertainment purposes and corporate team concept type training.

I am looking for all to post with their ideas and thoughts…

      Thanks

The good idea is maybe to keep it quiet for now. Those societies (using Falcon4) are perhaps about to get some troubles.

@Admin & modos : maybe a good idea to lock this one too (?)

From the EULA you have to accept at BMS installation :

You, the end-user, are granted non-exclusive, non-sublicensable rights to use the product for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

          From the FAQ :

Q: What if I make a mod but I would like to charge money for it?

A: BMS has no interest in dictating what you do or don’t do in respect of making add-ons for the release materials. If you want to make an add-on and charge for it, that’s up to you and your audience to decide. However, if you want to know what we think of that approach, please know that we think it’s a bad idea and we don’t plan to help you if you go that route. The BMS community add-on is available to you for FREE and we’re sharing the fruits of our labor as a way to give back to a community that has given a lot to us over time. We would hope everyone can and will see the betterment of the game we all enjoy playing in the same way.

As you can see, your suggestion is not really in the team spirit.

As DJ suggested, since we dont really want to sparkle this kind of debates here, the thread has been closed. Thanks for understanding.
