New player - where is the best place to start?
-
Looking for suggestions, and I have a couple questions! Been playing sims for years, but have not really scratched the surface with BMS. I’d love to get into it, but not sure where to start in terms of documentation, manuals, tutorials, etc.
I have BMS 4.32 installed and it runs great.
Where is the right place to start learning the game? I’m mostly interested in the single-player campaigns to begin. Is the original Falcon 4.0 manual still relevant (tutorials, etc?)
Thanks in advance for any insight you can provide.

Check out the docs folder in the games folder for a start, plenty of information in there.

When 4.33 is available again, get it. Use the Training.pdf and go through the training missions. Until then read all the manuals in the Docs folder. Practice everything and you will have jump start for 4.33.

And if you’ve got 4.33 too:https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?23373-Links-to-4-33-Manual
Updated manuals should help you get up to speed.

Also plenty of stuff on youtube, look up Krause on youtube for a crash course

Thanks all for the suggestions - the youtube videos are great.

hey man. The original manual is still very useful although many systems have changed in bms 4.33 but there are so many things in terms of tactics and general information that is still very relevant.

Agreed.
